HOURS EMERGENCIES
If you need a doctor after
the surgery is closed, ring the surgery number and you will be transferred
automatically to North Staffs Urgent Care. Please have the patient's
name, address, telephone number and a description of the problem ready
when you ring. You will be asked to attend the Leek Moorlands Hospital
on Ashbourne Road, Leek or a centre in Stoke; have a pen or paper ready
to write down the details.
If you feel your emergency is serious,
ie severe bleeding, chest pain suggesting a heart attack or severe shortness
of breath, ring 999 and request an ambulance. If you suspect a broken
bone or need stitches make your own way directly to the hospital.
